Our first screening outside of Philadelphia. Held in one of the few remaining truly DIY venues in NYC, this screening was a collaborative effort between Philadelphia and New York experimental artists. The program was divided into two halves. The first half was composed of recent submissions and work shown at previous screenings. The second half involved a series of film & video enhanced live performances. The screening featured 11 videos, one 16mm piece with live musical accompaniment, and five performances.

2/8/19
The Vat, 1822 N Hancock St.
Featuring performances by:
Javi Devia, True Sphere Potential, Ms. Lu Larvae, HALF, DJ Controller, Cherry Harbinger & Rat Porridge, and Boothe.
Our first screenings based entirely around live performances. The only criteria given to performers was that their work must engage with video through performance. The event was held in an underground venue closely associated with Philadelphia’s noise music scene, and presented a stark stylistic alternative to the types of events typically held at the space.
LK V: The River Project
10/21/18
An abandoned lot along the Delaware river
Featuring work by:
George MacLeod, Sophia Levin, Alanna Rebbeck, Michael Ipsen, Reily Gordon, Matt Ober, & Jared Defrees.
This was our first screening with a distinct theme. We asked people to submit work informed by or engaging with the idea of rivers. The screening was then executed in an abandoned lot along the Delaware river using a generator as a power source. All submitted works engaged directly with the assigned theme, and it was a very successful and unique screening event.
